How do we teach students to acquire words?
In today’s 21st century classrooms, digital tools must
coexist alongside more traditional tools. Online tools, provide
a broader array of information about words and word
meanings. Some tools allow teachers to easily customize words
so that students can practice, review, and play games with
content-specific words.
According to various researches, effective vocabulary
instruction should include the following three elements:
1. Definition and context information about a word
